Keeping Coachella Valley blooming—this season and for generations to come.

For nearly 20 years, the Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival has served as the leading public celebration of our desert environment—connecting thousands of families with the land, science, and stewardship that sustain our community.

Each March, the Festival draws families, nature lovers, educators, and visitors from across the Coachella Valley and beyond. While wildflower blooms vary year to year, interest in our desert ecosystem does not.

While wildflower blooms vary year to year, interest in our desert ecosystem does not.

The Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival is the only event of its kind in our region, and we are proud to be approaching our 20th year. Long before “native planting” became a buzzword, our organization championed water-wise landscapes, habitat restoration, and environmental education. Today, many programs across the Valley reflect ideas that originated here—making the Festival not just a celebration, but a reflection of long-standing leadership.
