Katie Barrows’ Wildflower Wonderland + Big Wheel Tours’ Desert Adventure, for up to 6 Guests

Rivers, marshes, and trout ponds? Shady, tree lined paths? In the DESERT? Yes! “You have to get to know the desert first, before it reveals itself to you!” Join Katie Barrows as she offers a “one of a kind” opportunity to explore the wildflowers of the Coachella Valley. Value PRICELESS!

We will visit three incredibly diverse nature preserves on this four-hour Big Wheel tour, for up to 6 guests, which takes you from the Colorado Desert to the Mojave Desert, and back. Enjoy the towering majesty of Mt. San Jacinto, learn about flowers, and see visual evidence of the mighty San Andreas fault that makes these unique habitats possible. We will be visiting Whitewater Preserve, Big Morongo Canyon Preserve, and Coachella Valley Preserve. Guests will be astounded by the stark contrast from the usual arid desert environs as they visit these lush habitats with running water, and a huge variety of plant and animal life.

Due to the varied seasonal and geographical nature of wildflower blooms, the route may be altered on tour day so that we can feature the best flower viewing experience. Please wear comfy, close-toed walking shoes as short, flat hikes are included at each stop.

Item Value: Priceless!
