This short, easy walk on the Ed Hastey Trail is a great introduction to the desert, suitable for people of all ages and abilities.  Enjoy a guided interpretive walk behind the Visitor Center and see and learn about native desert plants and animals.

Location: From the Visitor Center on Highway 74. Hike rating is easy, approximately one quarter mile round trip. Elevation gain is negligible. 1 liter of water per person. Hat and sunscreen recommended. Trail is paved. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
