National Public Lands Day

Bureau of Land Management, City of Desert Hot Springs and Farmworker Institute of Education & Leadership Development (FIELD) will be hosting a clean-up day in Long Canyon. Bring your family, friends, students and coworkers to spend the day outdoors giving back to your community by restoring and improving wildlife habitat. Your work will help ensure our public lands continue to be beautiful places to enjoy. A variety of projects are available for all ages.  

Bring your sun hat, wear long pants and sturdy closed toe shoes. Reusable water bottles are recommended. Tools, Gloves, Personal Protective Equipment and iced water (bottle not included) will be provided for participants.
