Celebrating its 20th anniversary, the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument invites you to be part of a BioBlitz! This first-time event is an opportunity to get involved in conservation and contribute to genuine scientific research. BioBlitz is a free species-finding and identifying event designed to showcase the biological value of the natural habitats found in Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. People of all ages are encouraged to explore any of the designated trails while observing, identifying, and counting plant and animal species using the free smartphone app iNaturalist. Instructions for iNaturalist and a map of designated trails will be provided upon registration.

In honor of National Public Lands Day, the first 50 participants to register will receive a 2020 National Public Lands Day Shirt!
