For thousands of years, people have used Coachella Valley trails for hunting, trade, and recreation. Learn about the Cahuilla origins of our trails, and the forging of the Spanish route by Juan de Anza. This lecture by local historian and anthropologist Harry Quinn is presented in partnership with Friends of the Desert Mountains and the Historical Society of Palm Desert.
