Join our Friends volunteer docent, George, and get in some of your daily steps outdoors while enjoying a hike along the hillside above Araby Wash. Explore the wonders of the fire ecology in the sensitive habitat area. Wander down into the wash to checkout a few desert plants. Learn the importance of this critical habitat area for the endangered Casey's June Beetle. Elevation gain of 100 feet.

Due to public health regulations, we suggest you wear a mask and practice social distancing. Must wear a mask at the trailhead.

RSVP is required and you must bring your ticket with you for check-in at 7:45 AM. Ticket reservations begin 14 days prior to the event. Sorry, no dogs allowed.
