Join the Friends of the Desert Mountains in restoring the land on Earth Day 2021 by helping remove invasive species such as saharan mustard, bromus grass and fountain grass in the beautiful Snow Creek area.

Invasive species are harmful to our natural resources (fish, wildlife, plants and overall ecosystem health) because they disrupt natural communities and ecological processes. The invasive species can outcompete the native species for food and habitats and sometimes even cause their extinction.

Wear gloves, hat, closed-toe shoes & bring at least 2 liters of water per person. Instruction and all necessary equipment will be provided.

Due to public health regulations you will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

RSVP is required, please bring your ticket with you for check-in at 7:45 AM.

Your tax deductible donation is appreciated and encouraged to support our volunteer programs.

NOTE: CHECK WEATHER BEFORE DEPARTING, THIS EVENT WILL BE CANCELLED FOR HIGH WINDS.

For more information call: 760-568-9918 ext. 27.
