Free Lecture: Exploring America's Pacific Crest Trail

Celebrate the 50th anniversary of America’s National Trail System with an armchair adventure. Join us for a visual overview of the 100 miles of trail radiating from the Coachella Valley and learn how the PCT came into being. The PCT spans California, Oregon and Washington for 2,650 miles through 48 wilderness areas and some of the most outstanding scenery in the United States. Families are welcome. Bring your picnic lunch to enjoy on the Visitor Center’s shaded patio afterwards. Registration is 10:45 AM. For more information, call 760-862-9984.
