Take a guided hike through the Santa Rosa & San Jacinto Mountains National Monument! See excellent views of the Coachella Valley and unique desert plants and animals including a chance to see the endangered Peninsular bighorn sheep and desert tortoises. We will hike the Randall Henderson Trail and the Art Smith Trail. Depending on the group and trail you choose, distance varies from 2-4 miles long and with 300-800 feet in elevation. Bring 2 liters of water, snacks, closed-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen and camera. Check-in begins at 8:45 AM. Your tax deductible donations are appreciated and encouraged. Sorry no dogs allowed.
