Astronomical Society of the Desert Lecture: Astronomical Fun

Dr. Stephenie Slahor is a lawyer, writer, lecturer, and professor. Astronomy has some heady, serious, puzzling, and mysterious topics that we’ve heard about from our prior speakers this year. But enough of that for now! There is also a fun, curious, and amusing side of astronomy, and that’s where we’ll land tonight. Dr. Stephenie Slahor will talk about “Astronomical Fun!”
This free event will be held at the Portola Community Center, 45-480 Portola Ave., Palm Desert, 92260. No RSVP required. Doors open at 6:30 pm for refreshments and the talk begins at 7:00 pm. Open to all ages.
