SUMMARY:11th Annual Wildflower 5K Trail Fun Run/Walk
DESCRIPTION:Lace up for the Wildflower 5K Trail Run/Walk with Friends of the Desert Mountains\, launching at a brand-new venue in La Quinta Cove. The course starts and finishes at the Cove Trailhead\, following the Cove trails as it cuts through the palm oasis picnic area and continues onto the Bear Creek Nature Trail and the Fred Wolff Nature Preserve. Designed for speed and flow\, the route features minimal elevation gain and wide well-marked trails making it ideal for both runners and walkers. \nFriends of the Desert Mountains is celebrating 39 years of conservation in the Coachella Valley\, and your participation will help us continue saving our desert. Dogs and trail-capable strollers are welcome. \nCheck-in begins at 7:30am. Meet at the Cove Trailhead at the end of the big parking lot. \nEntrance fee is $40.00 per person and includes a t-shirt. Ages 12 and under\, there is NO registration fee or t-shirt. Cancellation policy: notice must be received by March 7th for refund.
