Moon Walk at Prescott Preserve (Dogs Welcome!)

Description: Join Friends of the Desert Mountains volunteers on our INAUGURAL MOON WALK at Prescott Preserve. This walk is located on the former Mesquite Golf course that is currently undergoing restoration. When restoration is complete, the land will have been restored to native desert environment with Tahquitz Creek Channel meandering through. Of course, the lake is there as well providing for all our native creatures. AND your furry, 4-legged buddy is welcome to come along but must be on a leash.
Overview: This easy hike (Rating below 50) is generally suitable for anyone who enjoys walking. Mostly level or with a slight incline.
Time: 7:00PM – 8:30PM

Distance: 2.5 miles
Elevation Gain: 15 feet
Terrain & Obstacles: This is a loop walk combining the former golf cart track and sandy pathway.
Requirements: Bring 1 liter of water, Closed-toe shoes.
