Hiking 101 - Learn Safe Hiking Skills on the Trail

This hike is geared to beginner hikers or anyone wanting to learn the basics of staying safe on the trails while out hiking. We will cover the 10 essentials all hikers should carry, along with information on hiking poles, clothing, backpacks, water, and tips on hiking on and off the trail. We will walk on the Randall Henderson trail, hike rating is easy. Wear closed-toed shoes and bring 1 liter of water.

RSVP is required for this event, and you must bring your ticket with you for check-in at 8:45 AM. Ticket reservations begin 14 days prior to the event. A suggested tax-deductible donation of $5.00 per person is appreciated and encouraged to support our volunteer programs.
