The Coachella Valley known worldwide as a hiking destination, but some valley residents face challenges accessing and enjoying our amazing outdoor opportunities. In a discussion led by Jim Karpiak of the Coachella Valley Mountains Conservancy, learn about plans for a new North Coachella Valley trail system, and new trail opportunities focused on accessibility for all users. This lecture is presented in partnership with Friends of the Desert Mountains and the Historical Society of Palm Desert.
