Interpretative Guided Hike, Chuckwalla Trail

Due to Covid-19, registration is limited to 5 people.

This trail meanders through the rolling foothills of the Santa Rosa Mountains above Rancho Mirage. You will see many unique desert plants and learn how they survive the long hot summers. Our volunteer leaders will share information about the National Monument and local history. The distance is 3 miles with elevation gain of 400 feet. Bring 2 liters of water, snacks, wear closed-toed shoes, hat, sunscreen.

Sign up now, as space is limited. Due to public health regulations, you will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

RSVP is required and you must bring your ticket with you for check-in at 8:45 AM. Ticket sales begins 14 days prior to the event. Sorry, no dogs allowed.

Your tax deductible, suggested donation of $5.00 per person is appreciated and encouraged to support our volunteer programs.

Note: We will meet in the upper parking area of the Rancho Mirage City Hall.
