Discover this 3.0 mile out-and back trail with an elevation gain of 1,000 feet in the Palm Springs. Generally considered a moderate challenging trail. We will be hiking up to the picnic tables. It can be a great workout, scenic, and a wonderful place to spot local flora and fauna.
This is a very popular area for birding, hiking, and running. You will likely encounter other people while exploring. Bighorn Sheep sightings are common, with lizards, roadrunners, and several interesting cacti.
You will need to leave pups at home as dogs are not allowed on this trail. There is minimal to no shade so wear plenty of sun protection. Bring 2 liters of water, a sun hat and wear close-toed shoes.
RSVP is required and you must bring your ticket with you for check-in 15 minutes prior to start time. Ticket reservations begin 14 days prior to the event.
