Join SoCal Adaptive Sports, Friends of the Desert Mountains, and Desert Recreation District volunteer docents on a night hike to discover the desert after dark for persons with disabilities. We will take a short walk about the basin below the dike looking for scorpions and other nocturnal creatures that inhabit our desert. The area is mostly on level ground. Wear your closed toed shoes and bring your water as usual. Due to CDC guidelines, we will practice social distancing and mask is optional when outdoors.

Please note: The Art Smith Trailhead parking lot is located just past the driveway for the Visitor Center approximately 100 feet on the southwest side of Highway 74.
