Full Moon Hike at the Indio Badlands Trail

Description: Strap on your hiking boots for a family-friendly full moon hike on the first mile of the Indio Badlands Trail. As we embark on this hike, the moonlight casts enchanting shadows on the desert terrain. The sky will be brilliantly lit up for the desert creatures to be scurrying about.

Overview: This easy hike (Rating below 50) is generally suitable for anyone who enjoys walking. Mostly level or with a slight incline.

Time: 7:00PM – 9:00PM

Distance: 2 miles

Elevation Gain: 150 feet

Terrain & Obstacles: This out and back trip will include getting up onto the ridge.

Requirements: Bring 1-2 liters of water, Closed-toe shoes.

Recommended: Flashlight, hiking poles
