Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival 2021 Is On!

There is no better harbinger of spring and renewal than Friends of the Desert Mountains’ annual Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival -- and it is slated this year for the entire month of March!

Coachella Valley Wildflower Festival 2021 is blossoming into an exotic hybrid of online activities and individualized outdoor challenges to raise awareness of the many wildflowers throughout Coachella Valley, always with an emphasis on exploring and supporting our splendid Santa Rosa and San Jacinto Mountains National Monument. While we will miss gathering together in Palm Desert, the mix of fun things we have planned makes the Festival even more accessible to everyone wanting to #ConnectToTheLand in Coachella Valley.

Here is a sampling of what Friends has planned, learn more at www.DesertMountains.org/cvwf:

30 MILES in 30 DAYS for 30 DOLLARS! Walk, Hike, Run, Ride or Roll our 30x30x30.  No matter where you live, challenge yourself and others to help Friends raise funds. Participants will have their own unique fundraising page on our website, and all who complete the minimum earn a special CVWF t-shirt!

Flowers in the Field It’s always super when our desert is in bloom, and March heralds the colorful season. Post your pictures on social media with the hashtag #VirtualSuperBloom to share the unique beauty of our wildflowers with the world.
